Now I'm really curious if it's a physical situation that limits how your fingers move, or if people have been explaining the moves wrong...
Can you fold your ring finger so that its fingertip sits roughly in the middle of the blob of muscle on the palm below the thumb?
And can you kind of press that fingertip into that muscle, to make that finger's end joint flatten out roughly straight?
Propping the 3rd finger against the thumb will create that small gap between the base of the thumb & ring finger's fingertip. Can you aim your middle finger to fly to fill that gap -- when the thumb abruptly slides out of the way and lets the "spring-loaded" middle finger fly there?

I can only snap with my thumb and pointer finger

I’m not the person you asked but I also can’t snap. It’s entirely a physical issue for me. I have very hyper flexible finger joints (like fingers bend all the way backwards flat against the back of my hand) so no I can’t keep my finger straight very well and I can’t keep it straight for the snappy part. Every time I tell someone I can’t snap they try and show me how. It’s cool though because not everyone can do nifty finger tricks like me

There was a guy in my neighborhood growing up who was around 70. Lived in the same house he grew up in and still drove his first car, an old ass pickup.
He was a cool old dude. He also told me his dog was the same one he had growing up and I was little and gullible so it filled me with hope and joy about my dog. I think he underestimated my stupidity and felt bad so he told me the dog was different.

When I was growing up, my dad lived in a house in the middle of a cattle farm. One of the neighbouring farms had 3 brothers in their 80s, who had never gone more than 50km in any direction. They still had a light truck from the 1930's that was in immaculate condition. My dad always said "Because they've never taken the fuckin' thing above 30km/h".

LOL - I moved out at 19. My mom passed, I inherited the house and was going to sell it. Ending up moving back in about 5 years ago. Still finding all sorts of stuff that she thought would be worth money someday.

I grew up in a meth house hold. My dad. My sister's. My brother. Their SOs and friends. My boyfriends later on. My sister's kids. All methed out all the time.

Mine was opiates. My mom, all of her siblings, my brother. My dad didn't do pills but he was addicted to hiding on his computer which eventually became online gambling. My dad was pushing them into bankruptcy with the gambling while my mom was doing it by getting as much cash back as possible from the grocery stores and gas stations so she could buy more pills than the many she was getting prescxtions for.
Watching them all trade pills, nod out during conversations, dig through each other cupboards looking for hidden pills at family functions, hide their purses so people wouldn't steal their pills...I am good on all of that.

I have always been curious about what goes through someone’s mind the first time they try a very dangerous drug. Like, I understand systemic poverty and how some people are more likely to be exposed to it than others, but the actual “fuck it” decision to use the first time still baffles me.
*edit: I should add that my dad and my former partner died within weeks of each other when I was in my 20’s, so I know what ptsd and depression are like, and I still wonder this question about trying hard drugs.

Many grow up in an environment where it's a common feature of daily life (unfortunately). I've also seen others deep in depression looking for an escape, or those who wanted to have a good time and were loosely-pressured into a situation that was outside of their comfort zone.
Knowing who I am nowadays, there's no way in hell I would ever touch that stuff. But I had an addictive personality growing up, and if I lived in that household, I would have been one of them. No question about it. You have a string willpower. You are definitely a leader, NOT a follower, remember that about yourself.

I was this way but I watched it and it is really cool, just be sure to set aside a lot of time bc episodes in season 4 are like entire movies
TimeLordAsparagus
My hot take is that Stranger Things is so overrated that it becomes underrated. Like it’s overhyped to the point that people get put off from watching it, or are underwhelmed when they do watch it, so naturally that means it’s the worst show ever. But if you go in not expecting a masterpiece, it’s actually a pretty good time.

I was doing pretty well on this until a couple years ago I needed surgery to keep my insides from becoming outsides. The surgery was way better than the recovery.

Move out of childhood home
There was a guy in my neighborhood growing up who was around 70. Lived in the same house he grew up in and still drove his first car, an old ass pickup.

I grew up in a meth house hold. My dad. My sister's. My brother. Their SOs and friends. My boyfriends later on. My sister's kids. All methed out all the time.

I have always been curious about what goes through someone’s mind the first time they try a very dangerous drug. Like, I understand systemic poverty and how some people are more likely to be exposed to it than others, but the actual “fuck it” decision to use the first time still baffles me.
Many grow up in an environment where it's a common feature of daily life (unfortunately). I've also seen others deep in depression looking for an escape, or those who wanted to have a good time and were loosely-pressured into a situation that was outside of their comfort zone.
Holy crap I'm proud of you. How do you have the willpower to live in a house like that and not fall into that? I'm seriously asking.
Prob break a bone, It at least seems common since I've seen tons of people with broken bones in school (Brace, cast, crutch, etc.)

As a fellow inhaler, I find I can whistle much higher notes than those who exhale. Losers.
This was me until 5 months ago, through pure trial and error I can now whistle any tune

Correct. First few season are some of the best tv I had watched in a long time upon release.
