That place is really impressive. I really love seeing the blend of traditional and modern. It really looks like a fun place. I have been lucky enough to see Pandas in Berlin. It felt like a real priviledge. Brilliant again!

Good'ay - Research, Research, Research. You went in OCTOBER? Chengdu is +30C in June to August. ZeroC in winter Dec to Feb. I too, fell in love with Chengdu, living there for 5.5 years. China is a whole new world and amazing. The panda breeding centre is a must to visit but get there early at 08:30. There is a vibrant gay scene there because as they say, "We're a long way from Beijing!" Many things you like about Japan, are actually from Chinese culture, but marketed as Japanese. The huge mall claimed to be the largest free-standing building in the world contains shops, a water park, restaurants, apartments, offices, English schools and much more. My favourite Chengdu restaurant was a Vegetarian Restaurant - and I'm not a Veggie. I lived on Yulin xi Lu which has become more "Trendy". You ate a Sichuan Pepper which tastes like soap (not soup). These pepper add flavour to Sichuan dishes, but you don't eat them. They numb the lips/mouth/tongue and adds heat to the dish. In the Winter Chengdu, which is surrounded my mountains is a bowl and can get cold and foggy. The People like both chilli and Sichuan Peppers to warm them up! I loved my time in China, it changed my life. Great to see you didn't choose Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, like so many others! I moved to Thailand for the sun. Best wishes from Bangkok. Went to China in 2015 and flew in and out of Chengdu (got cheap flights as it was a new flight route at the time and of course I wanted to see the pandas). I had the sweetest tour guide in Chengdu. Turns out my tour was on her birthday so she bought me a cuddly toy panda and treated me to a several course tasting menu lunch. Chengdu was a highlight. Otherwise though would say that I found China to be one of the hardest places that I have visited and found the stares much worse than India, to the point that someone was trying to take my photo as I was eating a meal in a restaurant. Shanghai was a pleasant surprise as liked it more than I imagined.
我2015 年去過中國，從成都飛進飛出（因為成都當時開辟了新航線，機票很便宜，當然我也想去看大熊貓）。我在成都遇到了最貼心的導游，我的旅行正值她的生日，所以她給我買了一個可愛的熊貓玩具，還請我吃了一頓有好幾道菜的品嘗午餐。除此之外，我覺得中國是我到過的最難適應的地方之一，而且我發(fā)現(xiàn)中國人的目光比印度人更可怕，甚至當我在餐廳用餐時，還有人想給我拍照。上海給了我一個驚喜，它比我想象中的更讓我喜歡。

actually China has more more diversity than Japan and Korean. diversity not only the food, culture but also the landscape. you can see snow mountain, desert, grassland, rain-forest, lake, coast, island, lake all in China. you may spend one month to visit Japan or Korean, then you are boring, but you make spend 1 years to visit China.

I was honestly so surprised by Chengdu! What I love about travel is the ability to push past any pre-conceived ideas and experience a place for yourself. Meet the people, feel the culture and form your own opinions based on first-hand encounters. It’s a huge part of why I’m open to travelling everywhere and anywhere! I had such a wonderful time in Chengdu ?? There were no restrictions on filming at all! I was actually really surprised to see people flying drones in the city getting awesome footage ?????? The locals loved being filmed too! They were so happy to see me sharing their city and culture. It was really inclusive and welcoming
