Don’t know whether it is relevant or not, but I am Russian and when I was little my mother once told me that America is so powerful and overwhelmingly successful in many spheres of life because it is the land of survivors. The first immigrants who came to the North America must have been tough and strong enough to 1) leave the comforts and/or familiarity of Europe 2) build a whole new life from scratch (like, literally build towns, infrastructure etc). I believe this is where the true spirit of everything American (not including the problems and sorrows surrounding Native Americans) comes from. It truly is very unfortunate: to see how the wildest spirit the world has known is falling before our eyes (in political, cultural, economic ways). Looking at it “from birds view”, this “American civilisation” (if it may be called that) didn’t last long, but it was bright, hopeful and ambitious.

I don't think there isn't any law that US hasn't broken, USA has broken all international laws, UN Charters & Geneva convention & USA should face war crime trials for all the crap they've done to so many countries, all the deaths, displacement, destruction they've done to so many countries, yet who in America has been charged with war crimes, complicity? Zero, None, 0. For an aledged democratic country that prides itself on democracy, huamn rights, freedom, such as USA, why they don't practice what they preach to the rest of the world then? Are they expemt from international laws, UN Charters, Geneva Convention? Who then polices USA when America breaks international laws then? It should be United Nations, under the Security Council. But somehow US seems to think they're above international laws therefore don't apply to them. USA needs to be placed where they belong.
