You're missing an important point, colonization of the past is not an excuse to allow colonization in the future. Their concerns are valid, but its unbalanced.

If Africa wants "unconditional" and "obligatory" blessings, then Africa needs salvation from God's unconditional love. China never pretends to be a "saviour" - China is an investor who trades at arm's length with quid pro quo conditions and obligations, which is trite.
