Did this this morning at Sobeys. Grocery trip took almost 3x longer than normal. Time well spent. It was like a reconnaissance mission. Grabbed some Mexican tomatoes and avocado on principle (don't have avocado often because pricey). And Canadian everything else I could find. Lots of good Peru and Thailand options too.
It's doable, with a few sacrifices. Kinda like the sacrifices we made with covid. And we did that for each other too.

Retired & love traveling in Canada - Banff last year was gorgeous. As of last night, we cancelled our travel plans to Quebec Province for this year- not as a boycott, but because of the politics, and concerns about crossing the border.
It's hurting all of us- both Nations. And boycotts eventually put pressures on businesses, then on politics, but at the expense of individuals, which usually comes first as job losses & high prices.
Trust in one another is the hardest thing to regain. The US has become a politically divided country & compromise is dwindling away. In my limited view it seems like Canada seems to find ways to find common ground. I pray our countries relationships resume quickly.
When were scheduled last year to visit Jasper, just after the wildfires, & the hardships to the region happened. Rather than cancelling our travels there, when the government opened the region to limited tourism, we stayed nearby to the west to do our little part to help local businesses. I look forward when we both can explore what we each have to offer, without the politics
