I was in Niagara fall and was shocked to see adults Indian just throw thrash on the ground everywhere. And the trash bin is right beside them. There's a trash bin everywhere, and they won't use it. That shit just blows my mind. The park was full of litter.

Some basic hygiene from these guys would be nice. As an East Indian myself (Guyanese born and bred - English speaking) I have tried opening up conversations with them but these convos don't get very far.

These incidents in canada are coming from those recent immigrants who came after the flood gates were opened circa 2020. They all started living in cultural enclaves and thought the entire country is Indians and continued behaving like in Delhi or Punjab.

As a white person who took courses in Sanskrit in college and attended several Vedanta temples, I don't think of myself as anti-Indian. I suppose it is some poor Indian at a call center in India who is trying to get information so they can scam American seniors out of some of our money--or a lot of money. If it happened once or twice, I'd overlook it, but it is unremmiting, and soften early in the morning waking me out of a sound sleep. I wonder why Modiji doesn't do something about it? Maybe he gets a cut? China doesn't attack US seniors, Russia doesn't attack US seniors, North Korea doesn't attack US seniors, only India attacks US seniors. So, who is our real enemy I wonder?

Living in the US for the last 3 years, I can totally agree that this kind of incidents really give us a bad rep. Recently an Indian guy was blasting really loud vulgar Indian music driving across my campustown. Not only the locals, even Indians were annoyed by that.

As an African Canadian, I know first-hand what discrimination feels like. I have gone to school and worked with many ethnicities, and I have tried to be open-minded and fair to everyone. I am a Singaporean student who studied in Australia years ago and lived in a shared house. I had a female house mate who was an Indian student. A lack of civic sense is sadly not exclusive to just one ethnicity (in this case, Indians). Anybody, regardless of where they come from, can have a lack of civic sense. You only really hear about Indians because of xenophobia. Most of my Indian friends are generally quiet and respectful, and I find it frustrating when people make negative generalizations based off ethnicity or cultural traditions. Great video, by the way!

I personally think that people in the US or Europe don't hate at all Indians or any other Asians or Africans. They dislike bad behaviour and lack of integration and respect for native people. But the main issue is that people are scared of being invaded by different cultures. The problem is the numbers which make people feel unsafe and scared of loosing their jobs and culture and at the end their country. The native populations see mass migration as a treat to their own survival. This seems to be a normal human reaction. In non western countries people would probably react this way even quicker and more violently if they had similar numbers of people migrating to their country.

Many times the hate can not justified logically. Indians should know it because in current Indian society the religion based hatred flows freely in broad day light. I have spent long time in both India and USA and compared these two examples of hate and see how the role changes. I condemn both skin color based hate and also the religion based hate.

This is a bit off-topic, but I would love an answer. Here in the US, Indian engineers working on H-1B visas for the likes o Elon Musk is a hot issue. Musk maintains that they are better educated than American engineers. If the education in India is so good, why do Indian families go into ruinous debt to send their kids to university in Canada? (Where they end up selling doughnuts at Tim Horton's to survive.). Why don't they send their kids to school in India? Honest question.

Since 2024 I come to India once a year and there is chaotic order here from my American perspective. There are some things I admire about it but it does boggle my mind as an American. Litter is one major point. When I have trash, I just give it to my Indian friend who just tosses it anywhere because I feel that guilt and shame of just simply littering. Traffic, what an adventure! Make your own rules likes a mario kart; make your own parking space, drive in the opposite direction of traffic when it's convenient, make a U-turn in the middle of the highway, hold a conversation with just the car horn. Bananas!
