We Northeasterners don't face racism from other countries, but from our own country. The day we start identifying ourselves as Indians no matter which region we come from, no one on earth can dare belittle us.

As a bihari, i faced far less discrimination in foreign countries as compared to India and then i see Indians from other states getting mad about the stereotypes which does not even effect me as i have heard worst things since childhood. I was scared to tell people about my ethnicity because then they will judge me for each and every thing, things which they won't even notice otherwise.
After going out of the country i first time took name of my state without the fear of the look which i used to get in India.

It’s heartbreaking to see how we often disrespect our own people—be it Biharis, South Indians, or our brothers and sisters from the Northeast. The casual racism, stereotypes, and lack of unity within our country are shameful. How can we expect the world to respect us when we fail to respect each other? Tragic incidents like the killings of Northeast Indian students in Delhi and Bengaluru for trivial reasons show how deeply rooted this issue is.

I am Chinese and do not hate India. We both came from a hard time after the colonization period and now still struggle to make a better life. But you should always be proud of your own country. 30 years ago, China was poor, but people were still proud of every step forward. In 2008, China's GDP was less than Japan, but we were still proud of holding the Olympic Games. Loving your own country is a push to unite together and create miracles. Although both of us still have a long way to go, step by step, everything will be better. The richer Western countries will never like you until you get richer and have benefits to them. But why not love yourself first?

Hate because Hindi-speaking people think that their language is superior to other languages of India and try to impose it on other languages. Don't impose your language (Hindi) on other languages. Every language has its own individuality. There is no national language in India. It is not mandatory for non-Hindi speaking people to speak in Hindi, as well as Hindi-speaking people to speak other languages. As your native language is Hindi, for that reason, non-Hindi speaking people like Odia, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, and Marathi should speak in Hindi, then Hindi-speaking people should speak in other languages as well. There should be one language to communicate between different language-speaking people. In our country, we use English to communicate with different language-speaking people. One thing I have noticed among Hindi and non-Hindi speaking people (not all) is that whenever a non-Hindi speaking person goes to a Hindi-speaking state, they try to learn their language to communicate. But in the case of Hindi-speaking people, when they go to a non-Hindi state, they never try to learn that state's language and use their own language to communicate, sometimes forcing the state's people to speak in Hindi. That is the difference between Hindi and non-Hindi speaking people. Why are you expecting respect for your language? If you don't give respect to others, first change this mentality, then there will be no hate in the future.
仇恨是因?yàn)橹v印地語(yǔ)的人認(rèn)為他們的語(yǔ)言優(yōu)于印度的其他語(yǔ)言并試圖將其強(qiáng)加給其他語(yǔ)言。不要將你的語(yǔ)言（印地語(yǔ)）強(qiáng)加給其他語(yǔ)言，每種語(yǔ)言都有其獨(dú)特性。印度沒(méi)有國(guó)語(yǔ)，非印地語(yǔ)使用者沒(méi)有義務(wù)說(shuō)印地語(yǔ)。同樣，印地語(yǔ)使用者也沒(méi)有義務(wù)說(shuō)其他語(yǔ)言。既然你的母語(yǔ)是印地語(yǔ)，那么如果像奧里亞語(yǔ)、孟加拉語(yǔ)、泰米爾語(yǔ)、泰盧固語(yǔ)和馬拉地語(yǔ)的非印地語(yǔ)使用者應(yīng)該講印地語(yǔ)，那么印地語(yǔ)使用者也應(yīng)該講其他語(yǔ)言。應(yīng)該有一種語(yǔ)言來(lái)在不同語(yǔ)言使用者之間進(jìn)行交流。在我們國(guó)家，我們用英語(yǔ)與不同語(yǔ)言使用者交流。我注意到印地語(yǔ)和非印地語(yǔ)使用者之間（并非所有人）的一個(gè)現(xiàn)象是每當(dāng)一個(gè)非印地語(yǔ)使用者去印地語(yǔ)地區(qū)時(shí)，他們會(huì)嘗試學(xué)習(xí)當(dāng)?shù)卣Z(yǔ)言來(lái)交流。但在印地語(yǔ)使用者的情況下，當(dāng)他們?nèi)シ怯〉卣Z(yǔ)地區(qū)時(shí)，他們從不嘗試學(xué)習(xí)當(dāng)?shù)卣Z(yǔ)言，而是用自己的語(yǔ)言交流，有時(shí)甚至強(qiáng)迫當(dāng)?shù)厝酥v印地語(yǔ)。這就是印地語(yǔ)和非印地語(yǔ)使用者之間的區(qū)別。你為什么期望別人尊重你的語(yǔ)言？如果你尊重別人，改變這種心態(tài)，那么未來(lái)就不會(huì)有仇恨。
