I have traveled to China many time and have seen the development over the last 35 years. If I was a young man (75 yrs now). I would also have the courage to move there. I have seen America in constant decay and the quality of life is precarious. I applaud you for your decision.

Truth is some of the 'core' values you mentioned such as family, marriage, bond are also shared by Chinese culture.

China is the safest country for Indian women and united states women where they are free 24 hours a day because they can walk alone at 2 AM at night anywhere without being attacked or raped or killed like in their countries. Women if you want complete freedom move to China you are 100% safe.

I'm glad the Chinese people are welcoming you and your family in China. It's sad when I hear some Chinese saying disrespectful things about Indians or other foreigners without knowing them. Fortunately, they are the minority. Most Chinese are friendly.

Yes, China has definitely come a long way to what it is today.
Unfortunately, most people in other parts of the world still have out-dated views of the country inspite of the information age we live in today. While some are genuinely ignorant, others just believe what they want to believe even if it meant denying the reality on the ground.
