Here is my to do list for all China Travellers including myself :-
A. Have a MasterCard or Visa Credit Card lixed to Wechat Pay and Ali Pay
B. Have a International Medical Insurance policy recognized in Mainland Chinese hospitals especially Shanghai. They are very affordable for their own citizens but expensive as hell for foreign tourists who fall ill.
Bajaj Allianz & Bupa & HDFC Ergo are recommended

F. Non Vegetarians - Pork, Beef and Duck are way more common than Mutton and Chicken. Shrimp and Squid are more common than Fish. Donkey meat is a delicacy. So if you are a Hindu who doesn't eat beef and you don't want to eat pork - Always watch your Hotpot and Noodles and ask for “Wu Nyuro Wu Zhurou” with a shake of your head

I would consider China the world’s best tourist destination. There is more to see than in any other country, and the people are the friendliest and most hospitable in the world. China also has the best tourist infrastructure, with excellent connections, clean toilets, and other facilities. Unlike India, tourist destinations are squeaking clean, and women do not have to be concerned about their safety. China should be on the bucket list of every global tourist.

I’ve had a party of 7 trying to utilise a car ride rated for maximum of 6 persons. When pointed out that they are over-capacity, one of them counted 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 conveniently omitting himself from the count when, in fact, he’d be travelling together with the group (total: 7)
Like they think everyone else is stupid.

I think that the best way to visit China and enjoy the many nice things attractions of China and have a really good value-for-money-holiday…..is by doing a GROUP TRAVEL.

For starters,make it convenient for those who like to cash in travellers cheques & operate in cash.Its OK,it Chinese financial institutions do their own version of Traveller’s Cheques,perhaps with none of the steep fees.

People are always anxious about the unknown, and unable to obtain informations they want from everyone speaking a foreign language, that is an obvious scenario full of unknowns.

And here I also would like to talk about a phenomenon that I have found for a long time. I usually visit South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong as a mainland Chinese, I found it quite difficult to see the young female tourists from these countries or regions on my flight back to China from these countries.

China is an open and inclusive country with not too many things to be overly cautious about. After arriving in China, apart from abiding by the universal laws against illegal acts, you can freely enjoy your time here.
There are only two things you might need to pay attention to.
