We don't need the USA anymore. Just in my home town we have EVERYTHING we need to start building our own cars, and not just that, the plant that would assemble them is designed to make anything up to the size of a sprinter. so small to medium commercial vehicles, even MILITARY ONES! we have tech companies that can make electronics as well.

most of Canada unfortunately can't see they became so reliant on the US for 3/4 of all our exports , out of convenience, complacency, and pretty much anglo-brotherhood with the US...now our government have reached out to SK/JP and EU to increase exports...but that is so late because it doesn't even add up in total what we normally export to the US...hope our government learned their lesson.
