US could not allow renouncing or it could just declare obtaining any second citizenship would automatically invalidate US citizenship. I also agree that most Americans have too much attachment to being American like it's the end all be all even if it's to their own detriment. I just know that I'm part of the tiny minority that will joyfully renounce. To me it basically comes down to being a part of something that aligns with your values that treats you well and is the right place for you. I would not be surprised if other legacy brand places would start doing the same or similar things to the trump travel ban 2.0
